President Donald Trump has pardoned five former NFL players, White House "pardon czar" Alice Marie Johnson announced on Feb. 12.

“Today, the President granted pardons to five former NFL players—Joe Klecko, Nate Newton, Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, and the late great Dr. Billy Cannon,“ Johnson wrote in a social media post.

Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores’ racial discrimination case against the NFL will be tried in its entirety in open court after an updated ruling by a federal court judge Friday, Feb. 13.

The NFL has won the grievance filed against the NFL Players Association over the annual team report cards that the union began assigning to teams regarding player working conditions.

On Friday, a memo was sent to all 32 NFL clubs informing them that the NFL had won a grievance filed against the NFLPA regarding the report cards.

An arbitrator determined that the NFLPA’s actions breached the collective bargaining agreement, stating that releasing those report cards publicly was harmful to teams and certain individuals.

Derek Carr has confirmed the report that he would consider playing in 2026, but he says it would have to be in the perfect situation. Carr announced his retirement from the Saints nine months ago, but he said on his podcast on Thursday that he has always been open to playing again,
