To Freud or not to Freud? I am a professor of psychology, and I do talk about Freud and his ideas a few times during each semester of Psych 101. Why? It’s at the end of the Reel, but also: Freud’s influence on Western society where my students and I live (and not just there) is significant, and should be understood by “generally educated” people.
