Competitors in the Seann Triubhas or Shawn Trews, Scottish Highland dance open heats, held during the 2023 Ballater Highland Games. This was at Ballater in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Thursday 10th August 2023. The dancers were (L-R) Michelle Gordon, Brogan Martin and Molly Smith, all of whom are champion Highland dancers. A very special occasion to celebrate the 150th Glenisla Highland Games, held at Forter in Glenisla, Angus, Scotland. Harking back to the event's founding in 1856, patrons, comittee members, competitors, friends and visitors were led through the glen from Meikle Forter Farm to the Games by Dundee City Pipe Band. The games are organised by Glenisla Highland and Friendly Society, under the patronage of the Earl and Countess of Airlie, a role held by their predecessors throughout the event's history
